Flat Braided Tapes are designed to provide maximum strength with minimum space requirements. Flat braided tapes were originally designed for specified military and space applications. Now, lacing tapes are finding their way into commercial, electrical, and electronic applications as well.



Type I lacing tapes are braided of high tenacity nylon (polyamide) yarns impregnated with an approproate finish. Approximate operating range is -67°F (-55°C) to 325°F (162°C). Standard colors are Natural and Black; special colors on request. Available Finishes: "X" Uncoated, "W" Wax, "G" Synthetic Elastomer, "A" Vinyl Chloride,   "R" Synthetic Rubber.

AA52081 (Type II)   Polyster Lacing Tapes

Type II lacing tapes are braided of high tenacity polyester yarns impregnated with an approproate finish. Approximate operating range is -100°F (-73°C) to 350°F (177°C). Standard colors are Natural and Black; special colors on request.  Available Finishes: "X" Uncoated, "W" Wax, "G" Synthetic Elastomer, "A" Vinyl Chloride,   "R" Synthetic Rubber.
